Atlanta Sports Store Design

A traditional sports store in downtown Komárom was set for a renewal, with a family heritage deeply rooted in the worlds of sports and commerce. The owners sought a fresh, modern identity that reflects the dynamism of sports while remaining true to the store’s traditions.

The new concept emphasized metal and concrete materials, incorporating universally movable, wheeled components to keep the space flexible and adaptable. The design relied on contrasts, ensuring that both colorful sports equipment and black tones received the right emphasis without overwhelming the visual balance. A key priority was to keep the focus on the products, allowing the interior elements to remain subtle yet distinctive.

The design extended beyond the store’s interior, placing special emphasis on the storefront as well. A wooden-framed façade highlighted the entrance, creating a striking visual experience, especially when illuminated in the evening.
